Video: Trivium Sees Their New Album For The First Time!

 
On July 27, 2011, guitarist/vocalist Matt Heafy and bassist Paolo Gregoletto were the first members of Trivium to see their new album In Waves in physical form, and you can see that moment now, on video. In the clip, they also talk about what they were aiming for with the album's unique, innovative art and the DVD that comes with the special edition, on which they play eight songs live in a studio, with no one around but the camera crew. Dream Theater Announces Tour Dates With Trivium!

 
Dream Theater have announced the first run of tour dates in support of their new album A Dramatic Turn of Events, due out September 13. The album marks the recorded debut of new drummer Mike Mangini, and it will be available in multiple versions that will be sure to delight the band's avid fans. In addition to the standard version, there will be: a special edition CD/DVD set including The Spirit Carries On, a 60-minute movie documenting Dream Theater’s much-discussed drummer auditions; a double-LP set in a gatefold jacket; and a Limited Deluxe Collector's Edition Box Set.

Watch Trivium Play "Down From The Sky" Live In-Studio!

 
As you probably know by now, the deluxe edition of Trivium's new album In Waves (in stores August 9) comes with five bonus tracks and a very special DVD, including the video for the song "In Waves," a documentary about the making of the album, and footage of the band performing eight songs - some new, some old - in a warehouse studio, with no one around but the camera crew.
